Tenon is a wood products processing, marketing and distribution business, focusing on the high value moulding and millwork markets in the United States. In addition to being a leading supplier in its core mouldings category, Tenon also supplies an extensive range of millwork items, including decorative products, stair-parts, doors, sidings, and outdoor products.

Tenon operates in both the new home construction (i.e. professional builders or pro-dealers) and remodelling & renovation (i.e. retail or national home centre) segments of the US housing market.

Tenon has strong supplier relationships with the independent and national pro-dealer chains, in the Mid West, Mid Atlantic, South (including Texas and Florida) and North East regions of the US.

Tenon also sells into the largest home improvement chains in the United States: Lowe's, The Home Depot, and Menards. Tenon’s products can be found in over 2,500 national home improvement stores in the US, and Tenon is the #1 full service provider to Lowe’s in its core mouldings category.

Tenon also supplies appearance grade lumber, produced from its large sawmill and remanufacturing operation at Taupo (NZ), to a number of US moulding and millwork manufacturers through its wholesale distribution channels. As well as providing a channel to market for these New Zealand manufactured clearwood products, Tenon’s distribution businesses also source significant quantities of finished mouldings and millwork products from other suppliers. Tenon’s international logistics operations ship over 8,000 40’ containers to the US annually, with products sourced from Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Brazil and China (amongst others).

Tenon's activities are reported in its annual and interim reports.  These can be downloaded from Tenon's own website at www.tenonglobal.com.

Rubicon Directors Luke Moriarty (as Chairman), George Karaplis and Stephen Kasnet also serve on the Tenon board of directors.
